Swallowing my feelings

Trigger warning: This post is written with no current intentions of self harm or self pity, this is merely a creative outlet where I am going to share my story of my eating disorder and how it affected my life. If you are struggling with an eating disorder, or you have in the past, please take into consideration that everyone's ED's are different and that I am here for you and I love you.  Okay, so, when did I find out I had an ED?  From a young age I was always known as the fat kid. My parents liked to refer to it as "having bigger bones". I loved to snack before and after meals and I absolutely loved dessert. My mom did not allow unhealthy snacks in the house like pop tarts, sugary cereals, Debbie cakes, etc. She tried really hard to make sure I always had healthy options to choose from and she always packed my lunch.  I remember being in middle school absolutely dreading P.E. class because they would eventually end up giving me the pacer test and weighing me.
